William Gairy or Gairy Williams, whatever his name was, did a Million Mind March inner sanctum call where his message was about living in the present and one of his phrases was "Joe Schroeder is stuck on stupid" What he meant was that Joe Schroeder lives in the present. A strange way to say it, and one would think certainly insulting to Joe Schroeder, but as Joe promoted the call, I guess it was all right with Joe.
Now, there are certain things Joe Schroeder preaches but doesn't practice. For example, he always says and has written in his books, "Do what you say you're going to do", but he doesn't always. Granted that Joe Schroeder is operating on a higher plane of existence than I am and so has the spontaneously right action thing going. In other words, how could Joe give you a message or lesson that he can see that you desperately need if he doesn't have the freedom to do whatever he needs to do to get that message across. But it puts you in a position where you're afraid to tell people what Joe will do if you are not sure yourself what Joe will do. If you want enlightenment and you're willing to take some confusion and hurt and anger along with it while you figure out the lesson, then Joe's your man. His message is absolutely brilliant. His books are absolutely brilliant. His inner sanctum calls are absolutely brilliant. I don't think there is anything out there like it.
But today I got an autoresponder letter from Joe retracting his praise of Eckhart Tolle and saying Oprah wasn't promoting Jesus. Good news for me, I have a mind of my own and I'm not going to believe some nonsense no matter who tells it to me. I listened to the You Tube blurb on the subject. I'd also seen it before as some fool somewhere had previously sent it to me.
Really, do you think God or Jesus cares if you call it the Source, the Universal, the Universe, the Infinite Organizing Power, the I AM, the All That IS, the Original Substance, the Christ or any of a number of names that people come up with that they're more comfortable with. It all means the same and the learning behind it is the same. I read a poem in college. Unfortunately, I can't remember the poet so I can't give credit where credit is due in this instance, might have been Alexander Pope, but not sure, but it says, "They know your name, but know you not. I do not know your name but know you."
Who do you suppose the poet was talking about?
Now, I'm not a big gotta-see-Oprah fan. I've probably seen her show maybe three times in my life. I know a lot of people who don't miss an episode and actually tape her show when they have to miss it. It's Oprah this, Oprah that, Oprah says... In other words, I see that people are being fed spiritually through Oprah and I see that she's opening people's minds to life and the truth and helping people take the next step past their own emotional and physical garbage. I see that she's made huge strides in her own life, but that's as far as it goes for me. I have my own sourses of inspiration and Oprah isn't one of them. So, I don't have any of that I-love-Oprah-and -Joe-Schroeder-has-slammed-her nonsense going.
When I read Joe's autoresponder letter, I felt disappointed. Despite Joe's brilliance, are there moments when Joe is stuck on stupid?

Life Is My Teacher
It used to be when something happened that I didn't want to happen, I felt overwhelmed and discouraged and frustrated and aggravated and all those other emotions that go along with it.
I'm 48 years old and after 48 years you collect a lot of garbage that doesn't go away.
So, when another bad thing occurs, that's just another piece of garbage that you're supposed to find solutions to or worry about until it disappears by itself.
It's been exhausting.
I'm noticing lately though that when something happens that I don't like and didn't want to happen, I'm seeing it differently.
Now I know that it's drawn to me because of blocks I have inside of me.
Until I came across EFT I had no way to eliminate the blocks and believe me I've tried everything in the world.
So it's truly a victory for EFT and me that when something comes up, I realize now that it's my body trying to clear and that I now have a tool to achieve the clearing.
My experience is that if it's something big, it will take about a week. You don't always know what the issues are and a weeks worth of tapping will reveal the issue and once you find it, do one round of tapping to it, it's gone. Forever.
Reality changes.
Amazing.
